XCAT Phantom Program
Description
Resource Type: Software
- Highly detailed male and female anatomies for subjects that are 50th percentile in terms of height/weight and organ volumes (thousands of defined structures including muscles and blood vessels)
- Parameterized models for the beating heart and respiratory motions that contain a high level of anatomical detail
- Numerous parameters to create normal and abnormal anatomical and motion variations to simulate a patient population for research
- Programs include main phantom program to create voxelized versions of the adult male and female phantoms, cardiac defect program to model regional motion defects as well as perfusion defects, cardiac plaque program to model plaques in the coronary vessels, lesion program to model lesions in the body, anatomy altering program to create anatomical variations from the template male and female anatomies, and vectors program to output motion vectors from the phantoms
