Research Technician II - Medical Imaging Simulation

The Role

The Center for Virtual Imaging Trials (CVIT) is seeking a candidate to fill the position of a Research Technician II – Medical Imaging Simulation. The Center aims to develop and provide a comprehensive virtual platform to assess the clinical performance of medical imaging technologies or applications from design to use. In its first phase, the Center focuses on Computed Tomography (CT).  The Center will provide essential resources to optimize the design and use of CT technologies for improved human health.

The individual should perform a variety of complex technical duties involved in conducting virtual imaging trials through medical imaging simulation techniques.  Such techniques include computational models of human anatomy, algorithms that model imaging devices, and image reconstruction and analysis.
