Three out of the ten scientific studies that CVIT and CIPG presented at last RSNA 2024 received outstanding recognitions.
Dr. Raj Panta and co-authors have been honored with the prestigious Cum Laude Award, also known as science poster award. This highly competitive award recognizes outstanding poster presentations in the meeting. The RSNA Science Council’s Scientific Poster Award Subgroup, comprising expert reviewers in the field, selected the award recipients after a meticulous evaluation of the presentation and its supplemental materials. In particular, Dr. Panta presented a poster about Liver Fat Quantification with a Silicon-based Photon-counting CT: An In-Silico Imaging Study co-authored with Zhye Yin, Fredrik Grönberg, Mridul Bhattarai, Ehsan Abadi, Paul Segars, and Ehsan Samei. Dr. Ehsan Samei hosted an educational course on Virtual Clinical Trials. The course was highlighted in the RSNA Daily Bulletin, the official publication of the 110th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America. (link to article).
Isabel Montero presented a talk about Disparities of access to medical imaging technology across the US as a function of social vulnerability. This study was conducted with co-authors Ehsan Abadi, David Crowley, and Ehsan Samei, and was also highlighted on the RSNA Daily Bulletin (link to article).
